ENGAGING YOUR MOUTH IN GOD’S PRAISE
By Ayodeji Agbelusi
Memorize: I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1 KJV
Read: Psalm 89:1-8
One great attitude that made David outstanding throughout many generations is his heart of gratitude towards God. He expressed this severally in songs of praise to God for every good things he has received from the Lord. His mouth was used far beyond talking, his pens and hands were ready to write beautifully about the greatness and goodness of the Lord.
The praise of God will stand you out. It aligns you with God and makes Him ready to attend to your needs on the earth. Remember how Paul and Silas praised God in Acts 16, that lead to a unique intervention of God and ultimately their deliverance from the chains of imprisonment. Maybe all you need to be set free is to return praise to God and use your mouth correctly. Each time you showcase His praise, you also proclaim His loving kindness and that’s a unique channel of evangelism. Did you know, You can turn a soul winner while testifying of the goodness of God in your life? Don’t stop talking it, keep saying it that the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.
Action Point: Consider the blessings and benefits you are daily loaded with and propelled with a heart of gratitude to magnify the name of the Lord wherever you are. You will always remain blessed.
