Memorize: Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Proverbs 3:13 KJV

Read: Proverbs 3:13-18

Wisdom has no substitute. It’s a treasure you must identify with and seek with all diligence. Her companion is understanding. You can’t live successfully on earth without this combo. These applications were evident in the ministry of Jesus and all through his operations on earth. The Bible clearly calls Him the power and wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:24. You must never forget that, Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7. You need this divine empowerment for all round breakthroughs on earth.

I’m sure you have clear pursuits for your destiny but they may not make sense if Jesus is not the center of it all. The genesis of all frustrations is worldliness and foolishness. Your quest for divine wisdom and spiritual understanding is the gateway to eternal peace, success and prosperity. The beginning of this blessing is the fear of the Lord. You can’t be blessed with the spirit of wisdom without genuine love of God and total departure from unrighteousness. You May therefore love to drop every other pursuit just to get going with God on the right notes. If you will work by faith and obey the Lord as required, your need for wisdom and understanding will be met.

Action Point: Take steps to have a close relationship with God and reject worldly entanglements. Remember, And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28:28
