Memorize: But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. Luke 13:27 KJV

Read: Luke 13:23-30

One of the most dangerous and delicate verse of the scriptures is our memory verse this day and I would like you to ponder on it while you read through the text again. A deep study of the words of Christ in the verses above will help your placement in God. You must be sure now if you are known of God. Don’t you think it’s going to be a major disaster to claim a relationship with God when He’s saying “I know you not”?

Imagine this sorrowful expression in Luke 13:26, Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. People could be that close and yet have no relationship with the Father. I pray you will think inward and examine yourself if you are truly in God’s record. Forget the activities and the spiritual gymnastics of our time. We must stop deceiving ourselves and start adjusting to heavenly standards if we truly want to see God. Beloved, kindly do the needful now, stop walking and working in iniquity, embrace holiness and depart from every appearance of evil. The best thing that should happen to you is eternal rest in God through Jesus Christ and not eternal stress and pain in hell. I pray at the close of this age, Jesus will not say unto you, depart from me for I know you not.

Pray with me: Father, purge me and I will be clean. Separate me from my involvement in iniquities and all forms of unrighteousness. Give me the grace to live ready for eternal life with you in Jesus mighty name.
