Memorize: Blessed be the Lord , that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. 1 Kings 8:56 KJV

Read: 1 Kings 8:55-58

God will not lie neither is He going to change from good to bad. He remains the same, yesterday, today and forever. Our unfaithfulness notwithstanding, He remains a caring and loving father. His words are eternal. His promises are sure and our hope must be in Him. Those who understand this concept about God will never retire from following Him. He’s our hope and the essence of our livelihood. We’ll be deceiving ourself if we choose to look elsewhere.

There’s rest in God provided you are ready to go with Him all the way, praying to Him and giving Him room to fight in your battles. There’s no magic in God. He’s making all things beautiful in His time and you must key into His order of blessings to be truly blessed on the earth. Our Lord Jesus in Matthew 11:28 says; Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The challenge with our generation are the fruitless options at our disposal. This is the undoing of humanity and the reason we have so much heartaches and unrest even in the church. You are combining too many things and they seem to bring nothing but frustration. The Bible says: Taste and see that the Lord is Good. Come out of your struggles and plug yourself to His lively hope. Be free from uncertain future and see glory through the scriptures. God is the author of rest for your marriage, finances and career. May He attend to you this season in Jesus name.

Pray with me: Father, have mercy on me and deliver me from vain struggles and fruitless labour on the earth. Lead me to your eternal rest and silence all my troubles round about. Let me live perpetually in the atmosphere of your miraculous manifestations.
